The Sonic Redemption are from Belgium and are incredibly noisy, wonderfully so. The lead track, The Ramones like Cities Of The Sun has deservedly received loads of attention, but the album has gone under the radar and deserves far more attention.
Although majoring on a sort of Noo Yawk Garage Rock, there is much more to behold, particularly the magnificent Johnny 23 which comes somewhere between UK Glam Rock and New Wave Punk. It is far more catchy than you deserve.
Madcap Doctor gets all Hair Metal whilst Gods Of The Nebula heads more into the territory of Dogs D'Amour. Metropolis is like Chris Difford fronting a NWOBHM band. The Soft Gun is splendid chaotic sleaze rock with a top notch vocal drawl.
I realise this sort of up and at 'em album is not for everyone, but you would be surprised at how accessible it can be. Riffs rebound from everywhere and the choruses suck you in to big singalongs. I absolutely love it and you could very well too.
You can listen to the album here.

There is no "the" in Ramones. The name of that band is only Ramones.
